Chesterfield Radio hit a Home Run
Chesterfield Radio’ program director, Sean Goldsmith, has definitely hit a home run this time. By announcing Richie Pearson taking over the Home Run show is a masterpiece. Having been the last ever drive time presenter on Peak FM Richie knows how to get people home from their working day with a laugh.
"Absolutely over the moon we’ve managed to pull this off"
Announcing the news Sean said “I’m absolutely over the moon we’ve managed to pull this off. Even though Richie had been with us, he’d been on just one show on Saturdays but now he’ll be rounding our weekday schedule off perfectly with his cheeky personality keeping People Company whilst they make their way home from work like he used to!”
Richie was a firm favourite with the listeners across North Derbyshire and he’s brought his style with him to Chesterfield Radio’ drive show 5 days a week. “It’s great; I’ve really enjoyed the short time I’ve had already so to be given this opportunity is awesome!”
Richie will be starting his new show on Monday 26th April which will go out 4pm til 6pm Monday to Friday.
"a Peak theme with Sean back on breakfast and now Richie back on drive"
Sean went on to say “There’s a bit of a Peak theme with Sean back on breakfast and now Richie back on drive across Chesterfield so there’s definitely familiar voices that we think people will love!”
“People are already loving the station and they’re letting us know this too. The messages we get are amazing to say we’ve only been on air for 5 months, we’ll do everything we can to keep up the hard work to make sure it’s an enjoyable experience for all of our listeners!”
